Abel Pliers are spring-loaded hard working tools. They offer two sizes of precision-machined pliers, shop-tested for 1,000+ cuts of 80-pound test Monel wire and 100 cuts of 250-pound Nylon-coated braided wire. After that, they still cut 7X mono.
Abel Model #2 Pliers at just 5.5 inches in length and 2.9 ounces are designed for all freshwater, bass angling, saltwater and fly-fishing use, capable of bending down the barb on a dry fly or cutting 175-pound braided wire.
Secure your pliers to your belt or wading shorts with an optional hand-tooled Latigo leather carrying sheath and coil cord lanyard.
