"You're not one of us, so SCRAM!"

Olive the Woolly Bugger wants to be a dry fly like her colorful companions at Camp Tightloops, Randal the Royal Coachman, Sally the Yellow Sally, and Stan the Stimulator. Try as she might, Olive just can't float like the snobby dry flies, but the drab little streamer fly soon learns what she can do! Dive in and discover why being different is what makes Olive a splashing success. Whether you're just getting your feet wet or you have an in-depth knowledge of fly-fishing, Olive teaches an important lesson about perseverance and respecting others.

WHAT THE EXPERTS ARE SAYING:

"This is a wonderful fly-fishing tale for both young anglers and the angler that is young at heart. Kirk Werner does a great job of including fundamental fly-fishing topics in a great story that catches both your attention and your eye." - Matt Wilhelm National Education Coordinator, Federation of Fly Fishers

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Kirk Werner is a lifelong resident of Washington state where he lives with his wife and two kids. He spent many years as an artist/animator in the children? software publishing industry. Kirk is currently a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. And apparently a writer, too. Among his many other interests, Kirk is a rather unaccomplished fly-fisherman. It is his love of the sport that provided the inspiration for his children? story, "Olive the Woolly Bugger."
