There is a reason why these are our stores best selling wader. Simms updated G3's now incorporate GORE-TEX Pro Shell fabric ever since they moved the seams away from the inner leg to the middle (front and rear) Simms has made these much less prone to seam damage due to constant rubbing.
Much better durability, comfort and overall satisfaction! These come highly recommended.

GORE-TEX Pro Shell: The next generation in breathable wader technology
Constructed with Gore Micro Grid Backer to produce the most rugged and durably waterproof fishing waders available today. The GORE-TEX membrane itself, contains 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch. (Not a typo!) These pores are so small, water droplets can not get through, but water vapor (sweat) can still escape. Water from the outside won't get in, cold winds cannot pass through and perspiration will easily escape, keeping you dry and comfortable all day. GORE-TEX Pro Shell is designed to meet the demands of professionals and serious enthusiasts.
